#274: Wandering the Middle Moors

The moors are lonely any time of year
but especially so in the fall.
Acres of plants go into dormancy in a blaze of russet.

The donut pond reflects a clear sky.
Not even a bird breaks the stillness.

If you listen, you can hear God's love song.

If you look, you can see evidence
of other wanderers,
saying 'hello' and 'isn't it lovely?'.
