#334: Perching Stool

What to do when there's nothing to do?
How about make another chair?
This one a friend handed to me
when I admired it in the back of her truck.

It was gray and paint spattered
but the weave was still good.
Some sanding and refinishing gave me
a stool worth tying.
I put a cushion on the old rush seat
 then wove over it.

Reds, blues and pale yellows make for a
wild pattern.
A sweet little perching stool.
Perfect for a chat in the kitchen.
Plenty of time for kitchen chats in the winter.
