Just because it's early spring
is no reason not to have flower arrangements.
Recent tabletops:
Our amaryllis on its second rebloom.
We'll replant in the summer, dig it up before the frost,
give it a rest until Thanksgiving, then repot.
Hellebores are always good for winter blooms!
Another rebloomed amaryllis,
the blossoms were too heavy for their stems
so we put them in a vase.
Ok, not flowers but gorgeous to me.
A truck full of Nantucket Bay Scallops.
The season ended yesterday,
No more fresh bays until October 1.
Good thing they freeze so nicely.
