#376: Good folk making democracy work

this is boring..i want labtop :) wuv you
(This is what a blogger with teens has to endure.)
It takes dozens of folk to staff an election.
Somebody had to dig out the table covers,
then draw lines using a ruler through each voter's name.
Then smile and give out the 'I Voted' stickers.
 Someone has to put the ballots properly into the machine.
Someone has to supervise.
Democracy works best under supervision.

Someone has to wave at the voters,
supporting their candidate.

Even if they're shy.

Afterwards, someone has to disassemble
the voting booths. In this case, our sheriff.
Behind every smiling candidate are many, many
anonymous workers.
